BIOGRAPHY OF BRITNEY SPEARS

            Born as Britney Jean Spears on December 2, 1981, in Kentwood, Lousiania, USA, she started the audition for Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club. Even though she failed join the club due to her young age, she grabbed the attentiaon of one of the producers who helped her find an agent in New York City. Britney then polished her skills at the off-Broadway Dance Center and at the Proffesional Performing Arts School. All her hard work paid off when, at 11, Britney finally joined the club. Two years of excitement with Mickey Mouse Club ended in1993. Britney returned home and got back to her ordinary life.

            However, her strong desire for performing made this energetic girl decide to fly to New York City once again , and this time she tried singing. With the help of Eric Foster White (Producer of Hi-Five and Whitney Houston), she traveled to Sweden to work with Max Martin (Producer of Robyn, Backstreet Boys, and Ace of Base) on her first album.

            In October 1998, her first single, Baby One More Time, was released. After touring with N Sync in January 1999, she came out with her debut album, which landed as number one on BillboardCharts in its first week of release ! Not bad for 17-years-old girl. The year 1999 was a great year for Britne. It showered her with success afret success. She managed to release two morw singles, Some Times and Crazy (included in the Drive Me Crazy movie soundtrack). She conquered America with her outstanding performances on her tours. Britney also collected a number of achievements, from MTV Awards and MTV European Music Awards.

            Britney’s debut album has become a major success and will certainly continue to boost more sales because of potential hits like from “The Bottom of My Broken Heart” and “You’ve Got It All”. Recently, her latest single, “Born To Love You”, has hit the market, promising another glory to this teen’s career. 1999 turn out to be a busy year for this big fan of Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, and Whitney Houston. She plans to release her new album soon and appear as a guest star on the famous TV series “Dawson’s Creek”. So, what will this newly crowned teen queen of pop come up with next?.
